Pune to Kashid Road Map

If you are travelling from Pune then this blog can become a decision maker for you. We had a plan to start our journey at about 1 PM but we finally made it to start at bout 3 PM. You can follow following 2 routes, both routes are about 171-175 KMs from pune.

1. Chandni Chowk - Paud - Mulshi -Tamhini - Kolad - Roha - Chanera - Phansad -Supegaon - Nandgaon - Kashid

This route is full of scenic beauty, nice green top everywhere , you will be travelling parallel to Mula river which makes you feel like heaven. This route is not preferred during summer. A big *BUT* for this route :D, the road is nowhere stands for travelling more then 50+KMs, you have to find roads between path-holes. We made a blunder to opt this route and end up travelling about 6 Hours to reach kashid. The journey was pathetic. We reached kashid at  9 PM.

If you have no time constraints then you can follow this route.

2. Pune – Khopoli – Pen – Alibag – Kashid

This route is faster than the first one, roads are good, not as beautiful as of first route, but I will advise you to go for this route which we decided for our return journey and we realized our wise decision later.
